The following is a brief synopsis of what the style is about and what you can expect and experience when training with us.

Firstly let me start by saying that all our instructors are Accredited with MAIA (Martial Arts Industry Australia) and that we are also members and insured with MAIA. All instructors have current Police Clearances and Working with Children Certificates and there are numerous policies, Code of Conduct / Child Safety statements etc to ensure your training experience is as safe and comprehensive as possible.

The Zanshin Freestyle Karate syllabus has been carefully structured offering at first basic skills but then the ability to train in a variety of different areas of the Martial Arts. Although we still incorporate traditions of old we are not bound by them and have very experienced Instructors and students from numerous styles incorporating Doce Pares, Brazilian Jujitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing and Tang Soo Do to name just a few.

Having trained in many different styles since the late 70’s I would like to think that our system is more than just techniques and skills. We pride ourselves on being family friendly and providing a culture, syllabus and environment that caters for all students allowing them to reach their full potential in multiple aspects of their personal development.

Through our comprehensive syllabus and programs students are taught empty hand techniques, Locks and holds, Weapons, Kata and more. Students will be challenged both physically and mentally to reach their full potential in their training, whilst being supported by our instructors in every way.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our web page and we look forward to training with you in the future.
